Keep calm, Ellaine Fatima turned 6.5 today!

Yep, my heartbeat, make-up artist and Indo/Pinoy soul mate is just like a leap-year baby. It is probably what makes her special and a little less than amazing. 

This woman is a blessing to everyone who knows her (can I get a round of applause for this?) and I can guarantee that she's a nut case hard to miss (which is ironic because she is allergic to nut). She is extremely loud, exponentially talented, and exhaustingly caring. She's so kind, it'll sicken you. 

I am lucky to be her friend, let alone be coined the term her 'heartbeat'. The first time we met, we bonded instantly over crappy employers and terrible weather, and in that moment I knew, I had met my soulmate. She's been my second shooter, my make up artist, and my Adobe encyclopaedia ever since. We've done countless projects together; in the slippery ground of the mangroves and in front of restricted zones, restaurants and in front of the mens' prayer room. We even managed to get ourselves stuck right inside the desert's sand dune (not literal, but every bit true) and avoided creepers at fashion shows and sidewalks. I don't regret any of our mishaps or the countless number of times she's been loudly embarrassing in public.
