The Starry Perseus

This weekend family trip - to the far areas of the Galaxy, the Perseus Constellation, leaving behind the Perseid Meteor Shower in our skies.

Well I didn't catch the meteor shower... BUT, it was still a pretty night :)

Don't want to get into the technical details as to not bore you (lol, no, I don't want an actual astronomer bashing me up for my inaccuracies...), however, it was definitely a night to remember! Good friends chatting, lying down on mats and pillows, eating a lot of junk food and drinking gallons of hot karak tea, we dissed taking pictures! Therefore, in the picture below you won't see the famous meteor shower.

Despite that, this is our starry view from the Al Ain Mercure Hotel at Jebel Hafeet.

Oh! And we also saw Saturn! :D
